How to change screen resolution on windows 7,8 and 10

Screen resolution can simply be explained as how the screen displays content and image details. Having a higher screen resolution implies; items on the screen appear sharper, more items can fit on the screen.

However, having a lower resolution implies; items appear bigger and fewer can fit on the screen.

Changing the screen resolution is necessary as it improves the display of images and clarity of images. It’s mostly LCD screens that often need to change resolution (They look best at their native resolution) but other screens too might need the change.

How to change screen resolution on Windows 7 and 8;

Go to your desktop and right click > screen resolution >Resolution. Choose the best resolution by trying out the available resolutions, apply the changes.

You will get just 15 seconds to confirm the changes or else it will revert to the default display settings. Click keep to use the newly set resolution or click Revert to go back to the previous resolution.

How to change screen resolution on Windows 10;

From your desktop, right click and select Display Settings from the options menu.

Select Advanced display settings from the right side of the window. From there you will be able to change the screen resolution.

You will get just 15 seconds to confirm the changes or else it will revert to the default display. Click keep to use the newly set resolution or click Revert to go back to the previous resolution.

We shall not recommend any resolutions because different screens look better with different screen resolutions. You will have to test what’s best for your screen and sight.

Note: Bigger screens usually support higher resolutions compared to small screens.
